Product introduction: IMATIC S7-1200 system has five different modules, namely CPU 1211C, CPU 1212C, CPU 1214C, CPU1215C and CPU1217C. Each of these modules can be expanded to fully meet your system needs. A signal board can be added in front of any CPU to easily expand digital or analog I/O without compromising the physical size of the controller. Signal modules can be connected to the right of the CPU to further expand the digital or analog I/O capacity. CPU 1212C can connect 2 signal modules, CPU 1214C, CPU1215C and CPU1217C can connect 8 signal modules. Finally, up to 3 communication modules can be connected to the left side of all SIMATIC S7-1200 CPU controllers to facilitate end-to-end serial communication.
